The question should be, "Is this ever possible?" Can God ask a man to go in with a harlot? If He can, what are His motives?

Beloved, follow me carefully in this amazing episode as we unravel the mystery in God's instruction.

Pastor Peter's ministry had attracted and won thousands of souls from the gin joints and brothels located in various parts of the city. His powerful sermon on God's love for a repentant soul and its redemption had won the hearts of the high and low in the city.

Despite the numerical strength of the church, three thousand in one service, and three such services on a Sunday morning, the pastor's longing for more members never stopped.

After a spirit-filled encounter with Jesus, his wife approached him and confirmed what God had whispered to him. The message was for him to pause evangelism and focus on consecrating himself. God repeatedly called him to a journey of fasting and prayer, just praying for himself.

The zeal and passion that had erupted and consumed Pastor Peter had consumed him, as the Spirit did to Daddy Bounkey of blessed memory.

God had sought many ways to call him to a journey of consecration but lost all attempts to the zeal and passion that had possessed Pastor Peter. So the best option was the only option.

God came to him in the cool of the day as he was preparing for evangelism and asked him to visit a brothel. A few minutes later, Pastor Peter's wife approached him with the same message but had more details. She said, "God wants you to visit Miss. The Glory of Room 005 in a brothel (harlot quarters)."

This was a done deal; he received it from God, and his wife confirmed it. Pastor Peter picked up his King James Bible and journeyed into the brothel. On getting there, he discovered, after many inquiries, that she had gone out to service a client. He decided to wait.

Three hours into the twilight, he got some intel that she was on her way back. He was there till 11 PM, and the lady finally arrived. Pastor Peter was given a warm welcome and was ushered into her chambers.

The pastor began his sermon, which took him two hours to draw the curtains, and the lady wept, receiving and accepting Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior.

She offered Pastor Peter a place to lay his head for the night as it was late. The next morning, Pastor Peter woke up and ran out to meet up with the morning prayers in Church. Of course, Miss. Glory followed him.

The news of this happening had escaped the four walls of the brothel to the city's parrots who helped in spreading it like wildfire.

Members of the church began to drop into some other churches in the city. A church of over seven thousand members was now counting below a hundred. Pastor Peter had gone in with a harlot, so said the headlines.

This great minister of the gospel of Jesus the Redeemer now saw the importance of engaging God in quality fellowship.

In the process, God whispered to him, "Son, I waited for you for months to tell you, I am the one that turns sinners into holy men and brings them your way. I am the caller, and you are the messenger. You ought to focus on me and not the people. Your attention was far from me, so I decided to give your labor to other men so I can have you."

Pastor Peter wept and repented. The good news is, Miss. Glory, who was converted on that night when many thought Pastor Peter had gone to play the harlot, became a pillar in the evangelism team. She emptied the brothels in the city into the church and went radically after her former customers and their families

Finally, don't do yourself an injustice by staying without Jesus Christ in your life. If you have not accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer with me: "Lord Jesus, I come to You today as a sinner. Please have mercy on me, cleanse me with Your precious blood, and help me to live for You from today henceforth and never turn away from You, in Jesus' Holy name, Amen."
