BVAS-by-Pass and God’s Love For Violence

A professor of Political Science once postulated that "the world political system is a replicate of the political structure set up by the Big Guy in the celestial that sits on the throne of many waters".

This Big Guy, or God as many may prefer to call Him, is believed by many to have been the architect of the concept and practice of politics and its process. His system of government, however, is democratic, as displayed through the free will given to man and the firm structure of His army (the angels).

Let me not bother you with too many details. The Nigerian political situation and the players within it have pushed me to travel this route today.

The current political upturn and the unfolding of a series of events from the ongoing political war (or wronging), as many have perceived the process to be, is a great sign that the Big Guy on the throne of many waters has grabbed a bouquet of popcorn and ordered the Seraphs to cover the emitting light that goes forth from Him to illuminate the courtroom, as He sets His gaze on the big screen called "Nigeria".

Don't misunderstand me when I say God likes it when the film is full of horror, violence, and a display of wickedness by men. All God does is say a word, and the next action that follows is a kind of trouble that the wise would term righteous.

Many prophets and ministers of the great gospel of Jesus Christ have aligned themselves with the words of the men who have gone ahead, saying that the time for the great change in the world's greatest country (Nigeria) is now.

Some others, like the former President, popularly known for his letter-writing skills, have come out to say (I paraphrase) "the drummer boy in the person of the 'Onowu' (the chief kingmaker in the Igbo tongue) is beating out a sound that proposes a mortal warfare."

Don't be surprised, beloved, and don't be dismayed either. I know you would say, "But God has spoken, why is it going in favor of the wicked who rage and imagine a vain thing?"

Let me ask, what did God tell Moses at the burning bush? God only said, "And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which [are] in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites… Come now, therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt." Exodus 3:7-8 & 10.

Beloved, if you read the above verses carefully, you would find no plague of the firstborn, that of the locust, and not even the Red Sea challenge.

God gave His word for the deliverance of the Israelites from captivity, but the antagonist who would always bring a juicy spice to the movie appeared and began opposing the protagonist, Moses.

Note: Despite the complaints and cries of the children of Israel against Moses, they kept on working and adhering to the protagonist (the man of God, Moses) until they were out of Egypt.

Beloved, this is not a time to lose hope. It's time to behave wiser than the children of Israel. God has shown us His finger by exposing the schemes of the wicked. Let's pray more and act like people who truly desire freedom from a corrupt system.

Believe me, heaven is watching. God is watching carefully to see what you and I will do. Satan is already standing before God with our complaints, accusing and labeling us as cowards. Don't let him win this case. Let's press further in prayers and not keep quiet.

I believe that we have overcome. Congratulations to Nigeria.

Finally, don't do yourself an injustice by staying without Jesus Christ in your life. If you have not accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer with me: "Lord Jesus, I come to You today as a sinner. Please have mercy on me, cleanse me with Your precious blood, and help me to live for You from today henceforth and never turn away from You, in Jesus' Holy name, Amen."

Congratulations, beloved, and welcome to God's family. Please don't stop here. If you don't belong to any church yet, try to locate one today, get committed, and serve God. God bless and keep you.
