IS JESUS CHRIST OBEDIENT?

The act of obedience is acquired as a result of suffering. History has proved beyond doubt that men who become obedient learn through experience and frustrating circumstances, such as suffering.

Don't protest yet, come patiently with me. The Bible testifies about Jesus in the book of Hebrews 5:8, saying "Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered" (AMP).

Beloved, even Jesus was obedient, but this came after he had suffered a few things.

I am often told that I am humble (smiles). Whenever I hear those words escaping any mouth, what comes to my mind is, "If you know what I have been through in these few days of my existence on earth, you would say my humility is not enough."

I am not saying that I have suffered much in life, but there are some experiences that I can share in the gathering of elders, and they would relate to and count me as an elder.

Does this mean that I am elderly? No, it's evidence of the fact that I have been through hell and I wasn't consumed.

Let's use the great country of Nigeria as an example. There is a movement currently making waves in the country, a movement of which I am a part; it is called "The Obedient Movement". After being deceived and misruled for a lifetime, the people rose in anger against the political class and began pushing for true change.

Is this a holy thing to do? I know that the above question is rhetorical but listen carefully, beloved. Jesus went into the temple on a certain day and discovered some humans selling and buying in His Father's house; He went straight and got some whips. The Bible records that He whipped them out of the temple.

This action of Jesus sent a message that would bring about a positive change to the way and manner in which people will treat His Father's house.

Beloved, in our case, it's a voting process. I strongly believe that come February 25, 2023, all Nigerians will make the right choice and be obedient to the voice of true change. In truth, we have suffered and we have learned obedient through the things we suffered.

I am not campaigning for a particular candidate; I am encouraging all Nigerians to be obedient and vote for Peter Obi.

Please remember that your life in Christ is a life of splendor. If you haven't given your life to Christ Jesus, do it now. Pray this prayer with me: "Lord Jesus, I come to You today as a sinner. Please have mercy on me, clean me with Your precious blood, and help me to live for You from today hence and back from You never in Jesus' Holy name, Amen."

Congratulations, beloved, and welcome to God's family. Please don't stop here. If you don't belong to any church yet, try and locate one today, get committed, and serve God. God bless and keep you.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound
