Striking a balance between the doings of the past and those of the present and also being able to pick from experience to explain the present is key.

This is a deliverance story of a sex addict. Follow me carefully and discover how he easily replaced sex with the Holy Ghost.

The great preacher "Myles Munroe" of blessed memory once said "sex began with humans, not at marriage" meaning that all humans are sexual beings and sex is defined as humans, we can from this deduce that any human without sexual urge is dead.

He also pointed out that the idea of sex was God's, God fashioned the instrumentalities and the process and purposed that all humans go through the same to fulfil His command of multiplication as stated in the Creation account.

One beautiful conversation that brought me to this topic is how a man likened the climax of sexual practice to the glorious fellowship with God.

In his words, "there are some times in my worship hours, I'd have a strong orgasm experience, stronger than that of Sex.

Within my thoughts, I kept on wondering to bridge the correlation between the two.

He said, "the practice of sex is also known as Koinonia", koinonia is etymologically Greek, meaning, "intimacy, fellowship".

He further expands that the same way a man accepts and walks into God through Jesus Christ and becomes one with him is the same way man accepts a woman and they two become one.

Hmmm,
Could this be the reason why Apostle Paul through the inspiration of the Spirit likened Jesus's relationship with the church to that of husband and wife in Ephesians 5:25?

Beloved, this is becoming very interesting just hang on, let's dig deep.

From his narration, he was born into polygamy that had over thirty-seven children from three wives and a few concubines.

This family set distorted his proper upbringing and led him into the hands of some friends who introduced him to some strange women in a brothel.

This journey soon kicked off as almost all the ladies in the brothel were up and against one another fighting for who will keep him as a permanent customer.

He rose from the first-timer cadre to the professional in under two months.

He soon travels out of town to a bigger city and begins feasting on the older women that get to pay him instead of him paying.

This act according to society is known and called "Suga Mummy"

He had and serviced more than two per week and grew rich within a short period.

But as his journey into hell progressed, he came across a young lady who through the grace of God invited him to the church where he got delivered and became born again.

He opened to the book of 2 Samuel 6:14 and read "And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment".

He then asks, "brother Paul, have you felt that kind of Joy that will make you want to dance and go naked in public?"

I nodded in affirmation,
He added, "imagine a king dancing with all his might to the point of being naked in public, what joy would you describe that came over him?"

I answered "the glorious joy of Yahweh"

He said, "bro Paul, you don't understand, that joy is the greatest joy that any human can have on earth… It surpasses that emotional feeling of ecstasy felt during sex, it can't be compared"

At this point, I was warming up to ask him how he was able to kill the urge for sex but he just broke into it and opened the portal.

He said, "whenever I feel like going to be with a lady, the thoughts of me still being alive and not even with a terminal disease, despite my past reckless living, I will break into tears and start worshipping Him, the climax of it comes when I am launched into that Davidic experience and cannot control my shouting and love expression for Jesus. The urge for sex immediately will die and I will begin to think the mind of God for me"

Hmmm…
This beloved said he continued in that path until that demon could no longer stand a thousand meters near him.
He conquered that demonic urge for immoral living by engaging in deep fellowship with Jesus Christ.

Beloved,
I can tell you for free that this that you just read is very easy to achieve, but not without a condition.

What could this condition be?
The Bible speaking in Luke 9:23 said, "Then He said to [them] all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me".

Beloved, you must deny yourself and pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus.

What does it mean?
Denying yourself simply means, starving yourself of the desires that won't glorify God, you are feeling like being with a woman that is not your wife, stealing from people, lying, cheating, beloved… Deny yourself of all the evil desires and take up your cross daily, meaning that you must continually keep at this self-denial.

It sounds hard right?
Beloved, with God's grace, you can do more than you think.
